This image depicts the exterior of the building where the loft residence resides.
The client for this loft residence is a writer who specializes in the historical fiction genre, and therefore is drawn to vintage styles. This mood board reflects those styles and colors used in the design. An ideal work day for this writer is spent in his quiet yet stimulating study, curled up by his fireplace with a good book, or heading to a nearby coffee shop for a change of scenery.
This residence is located in Unit 404 of the Gallun Tannery building in Milwaukee, WI.

The intent of this design is to draw focus to the writer’s workspace and sanctuary- his study. The study’s unique rounded wall and bookshelf, along with its proximity to the entrance, emphasizes the importance of the space and gives a glimpse into this writer’s world. This design promotes productivity and focus for the writer, while also allowing areas for relaxation and down time.
